A group of 20 Students from our INTI campus came to UOW for a short study tour. Here are some highlights from their exciting week.
MyQUEST is an evaluation and rating system to evaluate the quality of an institution, the programs and practices of private higher education institution (College) in Malaysia.
The evaluation is held every 2 years.
INTI International College Subang recently received the five star rating for the college-based category, and six star rating (maximum) for 4 individual clusters including (1. Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction. 2. General Programs. 3. Science, Mathematics & Computing. 4. Services) through the Malaysian Quality Evaluation System for Private Colleges (MyQUEST) 2014/2015.
INTI International College co-organised the AppAsia Mobile Challenge 2015 recently on 26 October 2015, which is a competition that requires students to use their knowledge, ingenuity and creativity to come up with original mobile applications. It is an excellent platform for the students to showcase their creative concept and innovative ideas and to contribute a useful mobile application to mobile users.
The Challenge was jointly launched by INTI International College Dean for UOW Programme Dr Jane Lim, Executive Director of AppAsia Bhd Calvert Wong and Chief Technology Officer of AppAsia Bhd Joekie Thong.
What a wonderful reception for Honorary Associate Professor MG Michael at INTI Penang in Malaysia. Students listened to a guest lecture from MG Michael and also about coming to UOW main campus in Wollongong to study their final year Bachelors or continuing study in a range of Masters programs.
This is what makes teaching and being part of a university so worthwhile! Our aim is to get you industry ready - these presentations made us so proud! Congratulations students. Remember to pay it forward when you are in a position in industry to do so... what great smiles and wonderfully presented you each are... you'd mistaken these photos for 'actors in a glossy' but actually completely spontaneous and showing UOW for what it is-- great people who are engaged!
Project title: “Current brand perception of GE among graduates and propose activities that could elevate GE’s brand, including structured ambassadorship and also identify savings plan for GE staff.”

- 16 out of 20 UOW students participated in INTI Durian Challenge. There are 10 difficulty levels where students have to pass through in which the taste and smell of the durian flavors increased level by level. 6 students successfully completed the Durian Challenge. They were awarded a T-shirt and a certificate.
